Lacuna in action1 min 33 sec

An exam-aware revision dashboard, lesson-by-lesson courses, recall and exam questions, keyboard-first card creation, sharing, syncing, Anki import and the Lacuna library. Fictional demonstration data. Music, no spoken narration.

Scheduled for your exam, not for ever.

Most flashcard apps space reviews out indefinitely. Lacuna simulates every card forward to your exam date and reviews whatever raises that day's score most.

One number, and it means something.

The forecast is what Lacuna optimises. If it says 84%, that is how much it expects you to recall on the day.

Did you know it? That's the whole question.

Answer Yes or No. Lacuna works out how well you knew it from how quickly you answered.

Practise the exam, not just the facts.

Write answers to exam questions. Lacuna marks them against the mark scheme and schedules them alongside your cards.

Yours, on your device.

No account. Everything stays on your device, with backups to a file and optional encrypted sync.

Demo data1 min 4 sec

A teacher opens a class report, finds a question pupils struggle with and reads the answers behind the scores. A tutor opens one learner’s report. A class code invites pupils to share. Fictional demonstration data. Music, no spoken narration.

Can I bring my Anki decks?

Yes. Import an Anki .apkg file to bring your cards into Lacuna.
